The all-aluminum engine itself has no cylinder liner. But other material engines have cylinder liners.
1. There is an engine that is integrated with the cylinder block and liner (two materials). First, the cylinder liner is made of steel, and then cast on the cylinder liner from aluminum;
2. The outer surface of the steel cylinder liner is a spike-like protrusion, which can strengthen the bonding strength of the aluminum cylinder liner and the aluminum cylinder liner during casting, increase the contact area, and improve the thermal conductivity;

3. Combine the advantages of steel cylinder liner and aluminum cylinder block. Steel cylinder liners are wear-resistant and have high strength. The aluminum cylinder has good thermal conductivity. The bonding strength of the two is higher than that of the wet cylinder liner, the thermal conductivity is better than that of the ordinary dry cylinder liner, and the weight is light.
There is no cylinder liner. The cylinder liner is embedded in the cylinder block and forms the combustion chamber together with the piston and cylinder head.
The all-aluminum engine has no cylinder liners. Cylinder liner is divided into two categories: dry cylinder liner and wet cylinder liner. The cylinder liner whose back is not in contact with cooling water is called dry cylinder liner, and the cylinder liner whose back is in contact with cooling water is called wet cylinder liner.
